  1. Unsure about comparibility with the device as I used it with an android, but with mine it worked throughout the house while my phone was left in a room, but there were spots out in the yard where I would not get notifications until I was closer. I'd say it started getting spotty at 150-200 feet or so.That being said, my device stopped recording any useful data or receiving notifications within two months, and I got about one month of solid wear from it. It was just outside of the return window when I started wishing that I could return it. I would personally advise against this model.
